Liana Nella-Potiropoulou studied architecture at NTUA and University of Pennsylvania. In 1989 she co-founded with Dimitris Potiropoulos the Athens-based firm Potiropoulos+Partners. She has been repeatedly awarded international prizes and distinctions in architectural competitions.

In 2009, “Potamos Editions” published the monograph “Potiropoulos D+L Architects” with selected studio works from the period 1989 to 2009. In 2014, the edition "Readings of Greek Post-war Architecture", included their firm among the 18 architects selected by the author for an overall review of architectural production in post-war Greece. Recent international accolades include the Architizer A+ Award, German Design Award and A Design Award.
