She studied at the School of Architecture of N.T.U.A. (MA, 1993), and continued her studies at the Bartlett UCL (M.Arch.,1995) and at the A.A .School of Architecture( 2003, Ph.D) under the scholarship of the Greek Scholarship Foundation.She has taught theory and design at the AA, the Technical University of Crete and since 2008 at the NTUA.

As an architect she has been involved in different architectural projects concerning private houses as also public and landscape spaces. She often participates in international architectural competitions and she has won 9 awards and distinctions

Since 1996 she has worked as a stage and costume designer for 26 theatre productions. She has published articles in architectural reviews, books, exhibition catalogues and conference proceedings
